Las vocales A E I O U

This week we reviewed the vowels/vocales that we have been talking about for the past few weeks. The children are doing a great job recognizing the sounds of the vowels in Spanish. We also had a great time playing a lot inside and outside.

 




We also painted and sculpted with a play-dough like material as we started our unit of study: winter/invierno. This big green painting will become our Christmas tree/árbol de Navidad where we can add decorations.

Half of the beans that we planted in baggies have sprouted! This gave us the opportunity to talk about why we thought some sprouted and some did not.
