Los insectos

To finish up our unit of learning about animals, we talked about insects (insectos). We looked for bugs (bichos) while playing outside and we found hormigas (ants), mariposas (butterflies), arañas (spiders), saltamontes (grasshoppers) and mariquitas (ladybugs). The children enjoyed creating colorful butterflies and gluing other insect shapes onto paper.

 

 In February we are learning about the shapes that are all around us.

Our letter of the week is V. Words that start with V are Victor, Valentin, volante, violetas, ventana, valle, vaso, etc.
