Las formas = Shapes

Our theme of the month of February was shapes (formas), so we learned: triángulo, círculo, rectángulo, cuadrado, óvalo, rombo, corazón, estrella, etc.

 

 
We talked about where we could find all these shapes around us inside and outside. The children enjoyed creating their own shapes out of paper. We talked about each shape having 3 or 4 or no corners and how each shape is similar and how they are different.

Our letter of the week was R/r. Words that start con la letra R son Ms. Reka, ratón, rosa, roca, rueda, radio, rey, reloj, rana etc.
