How do plants grow? We talked about how plants develop from seeds (semillas), grow leaves (hojas), flowers (flores) and seeds. This way the process starts all over again. We learned about small, medium and big plantas. We made a forest (bosque) out of paper.
Outside we observed all kinds of small, medium and big plants. Also, outside the children really like to "play racecars" as they call it. They bring bikes and cars up to the top of the hill and they ride down. Or they bring hula hoops up to the top and watch how the hula hoops roll down the hill. They are learning about gravity and cause and effect this way!
Each little girl chose her own car to ride...
It was a lot of fun playing with the muddy water after the rains!
We also made egg shakers and painted on paper with different colors.
We started classifying objects like these toy insects into groups according to their color, shape, size or other characteristics.
