On Tuesday we celebrated dieciseis de septiembre and Hispanic Heritage Month by coloring sombreros and wearing them on our heads. We also enjoyed playing our instruments this week!
Mr. Potatohead helped us to learn words like el cuerpo, el brazo, la mano, los hombros, las piernas, los pies, la rodilla, etc. We made little people out of sticks and toilet paper rolls and drew faces on our people.
Our letter of the week was the lower case a. We learned its shape by sticking stickers on an outline of the letter a.
The children enjoyed exploring outdoors after the rain.
