Well, the bean plants we planted did not grow very tall... but we learned about what was supposed to have happened: how a little seed (semilla) grows (crece) into a plant (planta) with flowers (con flores).
We also learned about trees (árboles) growing tall and we practiced the yoga pose of a tree (árbol) standing up and balancing on one leg while bending our other leg. We made trees out of toilet paper rolls and tissue paper.
It was great to watch the children read, play, sing and run together cooperating and sharing well. I was able to capture some of those moments:
