Visita de enfermeras

We are very fortunate to have two mommies in our class that are nurses, enfermeras. They kindly volunteered their time to come talk to our class about their work. One of them works with babies and she showed us how to take care of babies. The other mom works with injured adults and she talked about dressing wounds.

 Our visitors also showed us their stethoscopes and let the children study and use the stethoscopes.

 We also got to make our own stethoscopes out of pipecleaners and plastic cups.

We glued cotton balls, tongue depressors and band-aids to make doctor's bags.

After the presentation the children pretended to be nurses and doctors. They liked playing and pretending with their stethoscopes and doctor's bags.
