Animales

This month our unit of study is animales de la granja, de la sabana africana, del océano, insectos, etc. We made a pig puppet, painted animals with water and with paint. We talked about the Spanish names of animals and the sounds they make. We sang songs about spiders and ocean dwellers like Araña pequeñita and Una sardina, una sardina...

We learned about la letra M and m and Spanish words that start with m like mam​á, moto, medias, mono, mano, muletas, etc. Our friends Mathilda and Mia have names that start with M.
The children had a lot of fun playing outside and inside with the toys and books.
