We continued learning more animal vocabulary:
insectos, mariquitas, abejas, mariposas, orugas... We created a garden filled with insects. We talked about insects living all around us outside.
The children enjoyed playing with the new balls (pelotas) and sand (arena) when we had nice weather outside.
During free art exploration, the children drew with markers and made pictures for their teacher. They also made pencil-holder containers out of metal cans decorating them with foam stickers.
The children enjoy "reading" our books together or individually. They love to discover new images they haven't noticed before.
Dancing around to music and using the instruments are also favorites of the children.
When it's raining outside, the children get to run around in the big room and hallway near our classroom.
We learned about la letra J/j. Words that start with J/j are: Jane, Joaquin,
jugo, jaula, jirafa, joyas, jarra, jardín, etc.
