Visita de un chef!

During our unit of study about foods, comidas, we were able to welcome a chef into our classroom! One of the parents from our community generously donated his time to come visit us and talk about different foods. The children really enjoyed his visit! Everyone got to mix the ingredients and we went to the kitchen to watch our cake bake. The best part was when the wait was over and we all got to taste our delicious chocolate cake! For days after our chef's visit, the children pretended to bake cakes and cook all kinds of foods inside and outside at our play kitchens!
